Unworthiness

Unworthiness

Brokenness in  women stemming from  physical, emotional, or sexual abuse suffer from feelings of unworthiness at a much higher rate than women dealing with other issues. This is partly because their caretakers, the people responsible to love, provide, and protect them, invaded and violated their body, mind, soul, and spirit. These individuals, perhaps victims themselves, did not see the “PRECIOUS CARGO”  symbolin the tenderness of your  eyes. Instead, they choose to ease the pain in their soul by invaded your world.

It does not matter whether the abuse was physical, emotional, or sexual, these acts reinforced that you were not “WORTHY” to be treated with dignity and respect; to be treated as other little girls.  You did not deserved to be love value or respected as a young lady, or even now as a women.

In fact, you may have been told I’m only doing this because “I love you.”  Whether the abuse occurred once or multiple times, the wound in your soul was created. The wound in your soul may be scabbed over but it is not healed. Without transformation, healing will not occur. Don’t you agree it’s time to heal?
